I have about 10 purses. And this is after giving away, and donating several. If I could afford more I would buy one. Well, I mean you really need different ones to match different outfits and different moods. My husband doesn't understand it... I blame my obsession with purses on my Libra moon. Any other Libra moon women have similar fashion issues? I have a theory I am developing on the influence of moon signs...

This post definately applies though. I live in an apartment with precious little closet space so I have to switch out last season's wardrobe and put them in SpaceBags (I swear, they were invented for me). This "seasonal switch" includes purses and handbags, scarves. Now all of my spring/summer bags and lightweight scarves are out. I also have my shoes in those clear shoe boxes on my closet shelf, filled up to the top with the spring/summer shoes within reach.
I chalk this up to Libra Moon and Saturn in Virgo!

When it comes to scarves I have a few and might wear a few because it's cold here more than warm and I only have more than one because they were bought for me. -

I used to keep the old ones "just in case" , esp. if it was a favorite, but then realized they just fill up with dust in my closet, and so I try to toss them. I always end up with odds and ends that were indespensible in my 'old' purse, but don't fit into my new purse, so then 6 mos later when I wonder... didn't I used to carry something like "THAT"? I can't find it again. LOL
I'm virgo sun, with taurus rising, so I guess I'm too practical (or lazy) to keep up with fashion. -

Thu, July 2, 2009 - 4:57 AMI don't necessarily have an obsession with purses, though I to have about a dozen of them. Different seasons, different moods and different styles...there's a purse or two to go with each. Like Gianna, I go for classic purses (or very unique ones), so they have accumulated over the years.
I love scarves, pearls, hair clips and dresses. I may have more dresses than I actually need (or manage to wear in a season). :) All kinds of styles – though not too eccentric anymore. (My Aquarius rising –squared by Uranus - finally stepped back & let my Libra side shine.)
I pay attention to all sorts of details...Though I have two completely opposing looks – one very elegant and put together, the other kinda tomboyish and relaxed....And i feel equally as confident both ways...
However, in addition to being Libra Moon, I have an entire stellium in Libra in 7th house (Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, with Venus conjuncting Juno in Libra in the 8th as well), so I guess my fondness of all things pretty does not come as a surprise.

LOL...Im constantly keeping an eye out for my next purchase, and always eying women's purses on the subway for new styles I would like for myself. This is the same with shoes as well, maybe a tad bit less...but still..obsessed.. :)

I carry the almost bare basics. I don't wear makeup and stuff like that. I just carry ID and my iPod, stuff like that. Plus, I tend to end up buying pants with bigger pockets, cargo pockets all over the place, that kind of thing, so between all of that - I really had no need for a purse. -

LOL, but Im a masochist and wear skinny jeans all the time. I dont know why they even bother constructing pockets for those pants..because its worthless.
