I met a man and he told me that women are rules by their moon signs more then their sun signs. And that men are ruled by their sun signs.
Anyone see any truth to this?
It does make me understand why a friend (male) with the same birthday would say to me....."boy you're a strange leo" :)

Re: Women and moon signs
Tue, July 18, 2006 - 2:48 AMHmm can't say I agree with thar, I find the men I know tend to be more ruled by their moon signs at night and by their sun during the day. I read somewhere thats why in relationships you need to consider the moon sign as much as the venus since most people are with their partners through the night times when they are in their moon mode I suppose.

Re: Women and moon signs
Tue, July 25, 2006 - 11:16 AMM,
I have read this on several websites. Because the moon rules our feminity. The sun is more masculine. But overall women are more ruled by their moon sign. People with watery moons for instance, especially women are attuned to the moons energy and therefore are able to pick up which sign the moon is in on a given day. -

Tue, July 25, 2006 - 12:48 PMAside from that you can look at decanates and houses to get a bigger picture of your moon and how it effects you. My sister is a Libra moon and Rising. I'm just here to learn. My moon is in Scorpio. -

Wed, March 21, 2007 - 4:37 PMI love my moon. It's deep, psychic, and intense. My IC is on the 4th house cusp with my moon so I'm not someone you want on your bad side. Even an astro sister of mine, Jennifer, was saying that about me. She has her rising in Taurus so she was born the same day and year as me but at 6:19am. I met her through another astro sister of mine.

Wed, March 21, 2007 - 5:27 PMWow I don't think I'm much like my moon sign at all although I've never really given it much thought. I have a Leo sun and I'm sure that the Libras in my life would say that I'm definitely more Leo than Libra. -

Hmmm...I don't identify more strongly with my Moon sign than with my Scorpio Sun or my Aquarius Asc.
However, I do see how this Moon placement may play out in my life. Swaying from utter ambivalence & moodiness to genuine kindness & fairness. LOL! But, then again, I've got 5 planets Libra Stellium, so it's kinda hard to tell...
To me, and I'm no Astrology expert, it seems like this placement refines my otherwise double-fixed Sco-Aqu persona & helps me see both sides of a situation/argument.
Sort of my own personal mediator—translating/rephrasing what Pluto & Uranus had to say in more friendly terms. :-)
I love Libra Moon people! I've only recently realized that my two great loves both have Moon in Libra. And I normally click with people with Libra rising, Mars, Venus, Jupiter. Alas, Libra Suns & I often misunderstand each other. :She sighed:

Because your sun sign is fixed. It's stronger than Cardinal Libra and more stubborn. Libra will just balance things out for you. It'll mellow out that Leo sun just a little bit. -

Re: Women and moon signs
Sun, April 1, 2007 - 10:24 AMIt all depends I guess. I've been studying people more than taking in the written word. I think experience can sometimes be better than whatever you read in any book or any website. I have a Gemini sun friend who has a Scorpio moon and she's fabulous.

Thu, April 5, 2007 - 3:23 PMmy friend in a leo sun (actually our BD's are on the same day).....so that makes sense who I could seem alittle mellow to him. but to a Libra sun how i could be so "unmellow"......which I know alot of people think I am cause i don't hide my anger or my quick temper....well and other times I don't try to hide it.
